I had the great fortune recently to have been invited to the Borrego Springs Plein Air invitational. It was a week long outing where fifteen artist from all along the west coast painted every day and brought their work into the gallery. We had a big opening on the last day. It was a great time. I got there early to scope out the landscape. This was the first painting I did.
