I woke up at Culp valley to cloudy skies
shouldered my gear and trekked about a half a mile to an over view I
had found the year before. It was windy as all get out so I nestled down
behind some rocks and it wasn't so bad. The footing was awkward
and I had to remember to move around and give my left leg a break once
and a while. Sometimes I get to concentrating so much that I can;t
hardly walk when I do change positions. This painting is kind of tame in
color but that's the desert on a gray day.
