The next day I drove up to Yaqui Pass and camped in a little wash I had found the year before. I did some hiking that evening holy ____ was it windy I could hear it coming before it hit the truck it was like sleeping in a boat. I got up at daylight and painted this rock outcropping. It was still windy but it was warm and it did give me some breaks.
